Overview
About Me
I'm Andrés, a 26-year-old economist and lawyer with a passion for the culture, agriculture, eco-architecture and nature landscape. I've spent the last three years working in a team of the Land Observatory in Colombia on agrarian studies.
I'm a coffee lover. When I was college student, I worked as a barista in a coffee shop in Bogotá and I know about coffee varieties, drying and preparation methods. I love sharing Colombian culture with people over a good cup of coffee. I am passionate about literature, I find in it a way to get to know different cultures and life experiences. I am excited to talk about Latin American literature and I want to learn more about authors from other latitudes.
Recently, my family and I have embarked on an exciting environmental recovery project. We're working to restore deforested land in a responsible way, using vermiculture, bird watching, planting for consumption, and the planting of native trees to promote biodiversity in the region. It's been a challenging and rewarding experience, and I'm proud to be part of a project that's making a positive impact on the environment.
Currently, I'm traveling around the world, participating in volunteer projects and soaking up new experiences wherever we go.
I'm excited to connect with people and make new friends. Thanks for taking the time to read my profile!

Music, Movies, and Books
I have a broad interest in music and movies, but what I truly enjoy is discovering new ones alongside new people. Sharing our perspectives and discovering new favorites together is a great way to connect and broaden our horizons. Additionally, I have a deep passion for literature, particularly Latin American literature. However, I am always eager to learn about literature from other regions and cultures, as I believe that stories have the power to bridge gaps and bring us closer together
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of my most memorable travel experiences was backpacking from Bogotá D.C in Colombia to Buenos Aires in Argentina by land. I traveled with my brother and a close friend, and we made it a point to soak up the culture and traditions of each country we passed through. From tasting delicious local cuisine to exploring breathtaking natural landscapes, the journey was both eye-opening and enriching. Overall, it was an incredible backpacking experience that I will always cherish.
Teach, Learn, Share
During my professional training, I had the opportunity to take intensive courses in both English and French. This experience not only improved my language skills but also gave me a deeper understanding of my mother tongue. I am highly motivated to continue improving my proficiency in English and French while also helping others learn or enhance their Spanish language abilities.
