Hi! I'm Andrés, a Mexican who has been living in Germany for over 10 years. I came here for my studies and now work as a consultant in product lifecycle management. I'm a passionate traveler who has been to around 80 countries and visited all seven continents. I volunteer at a non-profit organization aiming to connect international students and young professionals in Braunschweig. I enjoy going for a run, hiking and cooking. If you're staying with me, I’ll do my best to make you feel welcome and comfortable. I’m happy to share local tips, show you around (when I have time), or just give you a cozy place to rest and recharge.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I strongly believe that strangers are just friends you haven't met yet. During my student years, I loved helping and connecting with new incoming internal students - some of them are still close friends even though they are back in their hometowns.

Now that I have my own place, I love the idea of opening up my home to travelers as my way of giving back to the community, offering a safe and welcoming space. It’s a beautiful way to create meaningful connections, even for just a short time.
