About Me

I'm a 31 year old ski bum going on 15 years teaching skiing. I coach mostly younger students, but I also show people where the good stuff is in my home resort, Revelstoke Mountain. I used to work in whistler and way back when at Blue Mountain, a small bump near toronto.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My friend who I was supposed to stay with in London hasn't been answering my Facebook messages and I am there in 2 days! And I'm on a budget and looking to not stay in a slummy hostel. Feel free to recommend a good one if I seem unlikely to find a pad.

That and I feel like I may host some people in Revelstoke if the timing is right, but I haven't set foot in my own house yet, just paid first month's rent from abroad!

Interests

Skiing, Cycling, music in general but especially ukulele playing and singing, jazz, blues, rock, pop, everything fun in the music world.

Music, Movies, and Books

Favorite band, hands down, everything Jack White has ever touched, tho Charles Bradley has stolen my heart lately.

1984 should be essential reading for all, but lately I've been reading some Eckhart Tolle and I'm interested in picking up his old book "the power of now"

I love fight Club and I really enjoyed Dr Strange. That and Batman except for the George Clooney one, we don't talk about that one ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've stood on top of some of the most spectacular mountains in western Canada and met a pro ski photographer so this winter may be my first winter as a sponsored skier. I quit my office job to move to the mountains and become a ski instructor and started to give up the nomadic life to be a firefighter in the summer

Teach, Learn, Share

I have quite strong French speaking skills from my time in school as well as studying in France for 6 months when I went to business school... I love playing music so if you want to jam I would be a most gracious guest

What I Can Share with Hosts

Music, fun times, positive attitude, great pizza cook and generally chilled out guy attitude. :)

Countries I’ve Visited

Estonia, France, Italy, Poland, Spain, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

Canada, France
