I am a student from the United States on a 3 and a half month backpacking trip around SE Asia. My goal is to explore the area and have a full taste of what it is like to live in the region. My hobbies include scuba diving, rock climbing, ultimate frisbee, skiing, hiking, exchanging stories with others, and of course, traveling!

I was born in Akron, Ohio (same place as LeBron James and Steph Curry), moved to Minnesota for 8 years, and then moved to Texas when I was 10. I’ve lived in extreme cold and extreme heat, so I’m prepared to visit any part of the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

One of my biggest passions in life is solo traveling to other countries and experiencing different cultures. I want to visit every corner of the cities that I am staying in and check out less touristy parts of cities. The best way to do that is to talk to locals, and what better way to meet local people than through Couchsurfing?
