ABOUT ME
In February 2013 I bought a one way ticket from San Francisco to Bali, Indonesia. I brought clothes, books, tools, and camping equipment, strapped it all onto my bicycle and set off into a new world where I didn't not speak the language or know anyone.
Since then, many people were so nice to me as complete strangers. Now that I have a home, I want to do everything I can to pay the love forward.
PHILOSOPHY
Every lane is a bike lane.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Love sports of all kind, outdoors, love to participate in everything from Chess to skydiving.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
The first time I ever couchsurfed I was scared by the situation. But the experience was so positive that I fell in love with the idea. Now that I have a home to offer, I try to make it as easy as possible for other travelers to find a nice place to stay and continue the couchsurfing experience.

Music, Movies, and Books
Books: They say not to bring dead weight with you when traveling the World by bike. However, I never considered not bringing them; extra weight be damned! I read everything from science fiction novels to unpopular History and everything in between.
Movies: Classics, 80's sci-fi, as well as directors such as Hitchcock, Cohen bros., Kubrick, Tarantino.
Music: Ethnically diverse world music. I love music in languages I don't understand for some reason. And socially reflective hip-hop.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Cycling the Cameroon Highlands while fasting, riding three days up and down Sumatran hills on one speed because my dérailleur caught into my rear spokes, many sunsets in Thailand, on and on.....
Teach, Learn, Share
There is so much to learn, its almost futile to begin an accumulation. A great man said it best, "education is not the filling of a bucket. It's the lighting of a fire."
I offer you free place to rest, kitchen warm shower, wifi Internet, good conversation, and can act as your guide when you stay.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Food, communal space, laughter, stories, directions, and connections.
