Overview
About Me
I was born in Bogotá, Colombia and I studied International Relations and Government with the hope of contributing to the development of my beautiful but sometimes chaotic country.
Right now I'm doing a Master in Development and Governance in Germany. I have also lived in the past in Canada and Panamá, something that has taught me a lot about multiculturalism and the beauty of unity in the diversity.
I consider myself a very open-minded person and I'm always willing to learn a little bit of each person because I believe that we all have something beautiful to stand out and, therefore, something that it’s worthwhile to be known.
I am very easy-going and I love all kind of plans (normal tourism, museums, adventure, hookah, bars and parties), but mainly I just love to walk by every city, in which I can put my feet in it. I come from a family of artists, so I also love to engage in artistic conversation, or to discuss the best all-time films.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have always believed that travelling is a cure for the soul, and I think that Couchsurfing is just the best way to get to know new cultures, different worldviews, incredible cities and obviously amazing people.
I used a lot Couchsurfing when I lived in Canada some years ago and I would love to start connecting again with this community of surfers now that I am studying in Europe. I hope that after this new try in CS and also after many smiles I will be coming back to Colombia eager to receive all the surfers that want to know my country.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
We were once trapped in the middle of the jungle in the Tayrona National Park in Colombia at night, with a rain so thick that at some point it became a huge river. With no lights, no communication, and really scared, we had to help a lot of people that was also trapped in the same situation. Fortunately, after a couple of very long hours, the final balance was just a couple of people injured, a lot of laughs, and a very good story to tell.
