I'm a Mathematics student doing a semestre abroad in Groningen, The Netherlands. Other than that, I'm a professional photographer, focused on action and adventure sports. I love sports and the outdoors, especially rock climbing and surfing. I'm an easy going, sociable, laid back person, who enjoys meeting new people from around the world.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I want to travel around Europe and get to know each place like a local would do, so what better way to do so than Couchsurfing!

I'm not accepting guests at the moment as the place I'm staying at in Groningen has a strict no guest policy (as well as the fact that there's literally no couch in my room; just my bed).

Interessen

I have been crazy about climbing for the last 6 years, and will probably continue to be so for the rest of my life. Last year I started surfing and I have become as addicted to that as I am to climbing.

This love for the outdoors probably made me get into action and adventure photography, something which I have been managing to do as a job for the last 3 or 4 years. Luckily, I have been modestly successful in it, and have worked in incredible projects in both the commercial and the editorial markets.

For some reason or the other, these similar interests combine with one which seems really incompatible: mathematics. I very close to finishing my bachelor in mathematics, and have enjoyed every last minute of it, to the point were I will probably pursue a masters and a PhD on it.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Radiohead, Animals as Leaders, blues, metal... as almost everyone, I enjoy almost all genres of music.

My favourite authors are Cortazar and Ishiguro.

Food! I'm a not so bad cook, and I enjoy trying to create novel, healthy dishes :) Photos as well, as I'm an accomplished photographer who has been published in both the commercial and editorial markets.
