About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To share the collective dream.
ABOUT ME
Before beginning my studies of Industrial Engineering, I took a plane to Europe and I stayed there with nothing but what I had in the backpack on my shoulders. A year passed by sooner than I thought and I had been over more than 10 countries, reaching the hand of hundreds of strangers I can now call friends. I was 18 when I left Mexico for the first time, and the most important thing I learned being away from my homeland is as follows:
One must never forget where he or she comes from. We may always leave one place, we are moving pieces in the game of destiny. We have our beginning and our end guaranteed, what happens in the middle is left for us to choose. Never forget where you come from, or you will forget where you are going to.
PHILOSOPHY
I can't explain what I think of life because I would get caught up in the middle of a bursting balloon of feelings and experiences. Life is a mystery waiting to be solved but with no solution possible. Why was I born? Why am I here? Where is my soul? What is my soul? How can I dream? Maybe I would be better not trying to answer every single question I can think of, not trying every time to push my limit beyond. But that is not what living is about, that is not the nature of a human heart, not the reason to be here. So I keep pushing forward, or backwards, in any direction I can push to make a difference in the world, to share hope to my brothers and sisters, never knowing for sure who they are in this world of strangers, but hoping that I can lend them a hand and touch their hearts to share the difficulties of life and its pleasures.
Together we dream, together we hope, together we change, we love, live and die, and suddenly it's there. The answer to what we look for shines upon our heads. So much experiences suffered, enjoyed, cried, laughed, hated and loved, only to find out that the answers to what we've been looking for were always in each other's hearts. Our satisfied need to find a friend, a lover, to call our human race a family. And to know that in this world we will never, ever, be alone.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like music of the good times, the early 70's and the 80's. A little bit of The Doors and Three Dog Night, some Manu Chao and Liquits. Some from here, some from there, some from today, some from before.
I am very much into knowing modern artistic movements. New writers, musicians and filmmakers are a treasure of our time.
American Beauty is one of my favorite movies.
I like latin american authors like Garcia Marquez, his books are the best. My favorite poets will always be Mario Benedetti and the Mexican Jaime Sabines.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I'm from a very warm country, Mexico. During my trip I saw snow for the first time and had a snowball fight outside my flat in Belgium. That was one of the happiest days of my life.
