About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Enjoy life by travelling and meeting new people and places
ABOUT ME
My name is Andres and I live in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I'm a sociologist and I work in social research and as a teacher at university. I love playing the guitar and listening to music. Like talking about politics, culture and art, and how that can be a way to get to know each other better.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've been a CS member for quite a few years now (I guess almost 10), and I've couchsurfed in such different and distant places as Egypt and Thailand. I've met a lot of great people and hope to keep on doing so. CS is undeniably a great way to save money and extend a trip, but most of the times (if not all) I would've chosen to couchsurf over going to a hostel even if it had been for free. I find CS to be the best way to get to know local culture, make new friends, and experience foreign countries and cities not only as exotic places to be photographed, but also enjoyed as the places where different people make themselves at home in. The greatest challenge then is to make the best out of travelling by getting close to people who don't live those realities as exotism but as part of their everyday lives.

What I Can Share with Hosts
I like to cook for my hosts and maybe go out for a walk or for a drink with them, but it's not the end of the world if they are kind of busy, it's not always easy to bring responsibilities and hosting together. What I do like the most is to exchange travel experiences, talk about our jobs, our interests, and most of all, to learn about my host's country and language!
