About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I currently live in Bonn.

ABOUT ME

I like to go dancing and to be active. I like running, biking, hiking, swimming...

PHILOSOPHY

I do not have a fix philosophy, but I always try to be fair with others and if I can not help someone or improve something, at least I avoid affecting (negatively) other people's life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently I can not host. This would be only possible if I get a permanent and private (i.e. not a WG) place to live in Hamburg.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was hosted in Calgary (Canada) and in Knoxville Tennesee by CS members. When I was living in Winnipeg in a private apartment I never had a request to host (I guess it was because Winnipeg is not a popular city of Canada; it is not very touristic).

Interests

I would like to travel more but of course you need to save money first.

Dancing Salsa is something that is always cheerful to me. However, when I am abroad I feel more into it (I mean I go out more to Salsa parties and festivals when abroad).

I like different Music styles depending of the moment; when I am traveling by bus in Colombia (specially if I am going to Bogota, I do not want to listen Salsa but Musica llanera. Why? It just feel more appropriate.

I like to try different food but I have some boundaries (e.g. I do not like to eat exotic animals like a snake or an scorpion). At some point I am going to prefer a vegetarian diet (it just feel better).

I just watch soccer matches of Atletico Nacional (my team) or the ones of Colombia National Team.

I enjoy reading about trees (specially the natives from Colombia) and planting them to improve the quality of the air and to decrease the temperature in my city, to give more resources to the fauna (specially to the birds) and because most of them are really beautiful.

Music, Movies, and Books

Not anymore into movies for a while so if I choose a name of a movie that I liked, it is going to be an old one (like Three colours Trilogy by Kristov Kiesowski).

When I go out I always try to have a book at hand in order to have something to do if I need to do a line or waiting at the doctor office. I enjoyed reading several classics by Dostoievski (e.g. Crime and Punishment. I always wanted to read: "A la recherche du temps perdu" but I have never been able to find enough time to do it (it is a big book-series).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I Slept on a tree in a Tropical Rainforest in Choco (Colombia), with Puma, Jaguar and snakes around, but the mosquitoes were the more annoying thing.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can help you practice your Spanish. If you are a woman and you Iike dancing Salsa (or even Tango o Forro) we could dance together.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I like to talk and share a little bit about my culture and country.

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Croatia, Czech Republic, Paraguay, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

Brazil, Canada, Germany
