About Me

Mexican studying anthropology in Austin. I spend too much time watching movies and money cooking for myself and friends, or just working in this tiny red food truck chopping up vegetables.

Other than that, the 30 extra free minutes I have in my day, I'll try and fit in some movie here and there or just working on side projects doing graphic design or video editing. I'll link ya my channel somewhere else on my profile to see what I mean, it's just some travel videos or random old things haha

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Just looking to get a more inside-look into what life is really like to wherever it is I'm going, meeting interesting and unique people to see what they love and learning from their experiences and their perspective.

Interests

film - I can spend days watching different movies, if I weren't so busy constantly, it'd be an addiction, but I think I can handle it. Recently, I mainly just watch food documentaries, international animated kids movies or just random movies about ordinary people such as the work of Yasurijō Ozu

cooking - I'm not the best, I didn't grow up around great food but recently it's been becoming an everpresent passion and has been the main part of my life for a year or so. I'll show ya a bit or two of mexican cuisine and i'd love to learn anything from you.

also, i make some videos on my spare time, here's a link to see what I mean: http://www.youtube.com/andresmgarza
