ABOUT ME

My name is Andres Vergara. I am a student studying abroad this semester in Bilbao, Spain. I was born in Los Angeles, California but now reside in Gainesville, Florida where I attend the University of Florida. I am a very outgoing and down to earth guy with only 20 years of age.

This semester while abroad, I will be traveling to the following countries: Italy, Greece, Germany, France, Holland, Czech Republic and England.

I feel that anyone in this world should say what you feel. Those who respect your ideas despite their point of view matter, and those who don't, well they don't matter.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

This is my first time trying CouchSurfing so I honestly don't know how it is. A couple of my friends have tried it and had a great experience. Hopefully I can say the same at the end of my trips.

Interests

Like I mentioned before, I am a very down to earth guy. I like to travel and learn about other cultures. I am a very social person so I love to meet other random people and build a relationship with them.

I like all types of music, but if I had to pick one of my favorites bands, it would have to be The Killers.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like any kinds of movies. I am very versatile. Whether it's romantic, horror or comedy, I am always down to watch it.

Regarding music, like I mentioned before, my favorite band is The Killers. I enjoy house music, latin music, well pretty much everything.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I haven't done to many "amazing" stuff in my life, but if I could pick any amazing moment in my life was when my niece was born. She was born on December 29, 2010 and since then she has changed my life completely. Her name is Isabella but I call her Bella. She's growing up so fast and it feels so surreal that I am an uncle.

Be ready to learn and listen to someone who has been through really ups and downs. It's said to never judge a book by it's cover and that's what I ask you for. It's absolutely impressive how much you can learn from someone.
