About Me

Might be able to host international travelers. Have to check w/ roommates.

CURRENT MISSION

To see as much of the world as I can, make friends, and document it as I go.

ABOUT ME

I'm pretty down to earth, easy going, and genuine. I love a good party night but I also enjoy simpler activities like staying in and watching a movie, or just having a few beverages with some food. I'm active and adventuresome but I'm not in any way hyper or overly excitable. Composed. I'm more of the quiet calm guy who is the contributor to the group but not the center of attention or entertainment.

I finished two university degrees, one in computer science & math, and one in biology so i'm very determined and studious.

The majority of my travelling happened while I was starring in a UK produced reality show called "The Gap Year" which documented six youths as they travelled the globe. Originally hosted on www.bebo.com/thegapyear or www.bebo.com/andretardiff_canada... the site has since gone down. The achieved footage is located on YouTube at: https://www.youtube.com/user/TheGapYear2008/videos

I also like to cook! Healthy food. I'm pretty good at making breakfast.

I love scuba diving, snowboarding, skydiving, hot yoga, running, biking, ultimate frisbee etc etc.

Lately I've become interested in computer science again, coding, design, video game development, Chinese medicine, Ayurveda, Acupuncture, Naturopathy, Nutrition, and Holistic approaches.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Well I am going to go out there and surf some couches! Once I'm home I hope to host!

COUCH SURFING EXPERIENCE

I have surfed a few couches. So far so good. I'm pretty new to this! I hope to gain experience and positive references :)

Interests

FOOD! I love experiencing new food!
I love beaches, relaxing, reading. I enjoy photography and film and technology and gadgets.
I really like a good drink or two in a pub (Favorite right now is "Saris tmavy", a dark Slovakian beer). [Edit update... I rarely drink now. Just an occasional glass of wine]
I enjoy people who are accepting of others just the way they are. Friendly types, ya know. Live and let live.
