ABOUT ME

Hi, my name is André, I'm from Brasília (the capital of Brazil) and currently living in Uppsala, Sweden. I'm really interested in other countries/cultures and to make new friends.

I am very easy going and respectful, I'm a simple person so I don't mind where I'm going to sleep and I have just one food restriction: raisins! 😂

I'm studying a Master in Sociology of Education and have a master degree in Sustainable Development at Uppsala University. I also have a Bachelor in International Relations, am a specialist in Public Administration and I love politics. I used to work at the Federal District's Secretariat of Mobility as a Special Advisor to the Secretary and as a Counsellor at the Brasília's Metro Administration. I also worked at the Federal District's Chamber of Representatives as a Political Advisor.

I enjoy playing football (soccer), basketball, poker and to watch any sports. I also love movies and TV series such as Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, House of Cards, Vikings, The Big Bang Theory and others.

PHILOSOPHY

Spiritual but not religious. I'm not an extremist. I like balance in my life.
I try to have good relations with people around me and try to do good actions or at least don't do "evil" things.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Hanging out with people that wants to meet up and that want to have a drink. Maybe being a guest for couple days.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had/have great experiences and stories, fun, sharing culture and good conversations! I met some people over Europe and South America and also surfers in my hometown.
