Just finished "Eva Luna" by Isabel Allende...now reading "The Language Instinct" by Pinker. Most recent great movie: "Machuca" (a chilean film at the Seattle Film Festival)

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

The first thing that comes to mind is an afternoon near Cajamarca, Peru. Some friends and I were walking back to town from a farm that we went to visit, and there was a thick storm cloud behind us and beautiful blue sky reaching down to the sunset in front of us. The contrast was so stark it was like someone put mismatched plastic easter egg halves together in the sky. The sunset was bouncing off the storm behind us and there were rainbows...it was really surreal.
