Overview
About Me
Being real; from my perspective opaqueness may have fleeting moments of charm but can quickly masquerade itself into an all encompassing state of grey with no boundaries. I cherish the natural environment and feel most comfortable in it, although not terribly partial to being ravished by mosquitoes. However, I do enjoy attending concerts and the theatre, and the acoustics are usually better inside, especially with classical piano concertos.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Curiosity and an interest in life learning, intrinsic qualities that drive me; one attains a greater sense of a person through meeting them. My life has been made richer through these experiences and hope for this to continue through this medium.
Interests
Sustainability in all its guises; cycling, gardening, food growing, cooking, theatre, most types of music but especially classical and jazz. Above all, continued learning.

Teach, Learn, Share
I'm quite a practical person; I've mostly foraged wood to heat the house for 10 years (storing it in the garden to season), fairly competent at maintaining bicycles and am very interested in renewables, energy storage and hydrogen fuel cells.
I follow a vegan way of life, and love to cook so happy to share recipes and help cook dinner.
