Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Like most of us I'm looking to travel on a budget and meet great people along the way.

Interests

Food is the easiest way to my heart. My motto is, "Don't ask me if I want some; ask me how much I want." I'm always eager to try new dishes and would love to share some recipes I've acquired over the years - recently been trying to start a collection of salsa recipes :)

Also really enjoy politics, history, cultures, psychology, and following current affairs. My browser homepage is the Guardian.

For books right now I'm raving about Isabel Allende and Richard Wright.. film would have to be The Tale of the Princess Kaguya and No Country for Old Men

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveling to Viet Nam and Cambodia was an incredible experience and I have plenty of stories I'd love to share with fellow Couchsurfers :) For a sneak peek I had my nationality called into question and a monkey nearly steal my travel buddy's purse
