Overview
About Me
I am a US Peace Corps Volunteer currently serving in Macedonia. Through the work that I'm doing at my NGO, I am able to travel around Europe and participate in youth exchanges but I also accrue vacation time and travel for my leisure :)
I grew up in Ohio but then moved and lived in Chicago for a couple of years and also Portland Oregon. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and I am currently pursuing a Master's in Public Administration.
I'm a very laid back, chill and consider myself a free spirit. But I am also very social and enjoy a good time ( and a party! ;) I believe I make an excellent guest because I am respectful, clean, and orderly. I love a good conversation and I'm always very curious to learn about different cultures and ways of life.
I will be serving in Macedonia until the end of the year before I return the the States to live and look for work. But for now, going where the wind takes me, living in the present and loving every minute of it :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because I'm a volunteer, I'm not paid very much. That being said, I'd rather spend my money on going out and having fun then on a hostel or a cheap hotel. I also think it sounds like a pretty fun and interesting experience. I have friends who have couchsurfed before so I'm looking forward to trying it out for myself.
