I grew up in Colorado (between Denver/Boulder) and aside from a 6 month stay in New Zealand, have always lived in Colorado. I'm usually a "go go go" person, checking out new things/places or working on something. In my spare time I am outdoors (hiking, fishing, etc), homebrewing or having a beer with friends.

Although I'm new to the site, CouchSurfing is not new to me. I have known of CS since 2009, and in 2014 I moved to Boulder and began being a part of hosting through 2 of my roommates. I've "unofficially" hosted many groups prior to finally joining. I've also attended several Boulder CS mixers. In general, this community has been something that has interested me for a long time and I only recently joined (better late than never!).

To host and meet new people. I enjoy hearing other's travel stories and learning about other cultures (if international, outside views of America are interesting too - as crazy as this may sound to some who reside here, the world in fact does not revolve around the USofA).
