Hello all!

My name is Andrew Braun, I am 20 years old and am currently living in the small southern town of Winkler Manitoba. I've grown up all over Canada living in Manitoba, British Columbia and Alberta. (Most interesting would have to be Thetis Island, British Columbia if you want to pull it up on maps)

My goal for the next while is to continue to travel, go to school and learn as much as I can through people around the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm trying to push myself outside of my comfort zone and what better way to do this than stay with complete strangers halfway across the globe :)

The goal in my mind is to have a unique experience outside of what the "normal" route of travel is considered. No hotels or renting cars, my intention is to rely on the good deeds of other people as much as I can to get me from point A to B.

Music: Green Day, Pink Floyd, Borns, Rudementals, Wolfmother, and right now I'm into electronic music. DV&LM, Martin Garrix, Kygo, and W&W are favorites at the moment. (Heading to Tomorrowland in Belgium this summer)

Movies: Interstellar, The Dark Knight trilogy, Toy Story, The Terminator, 21 Jump Street, 50/50, and you can never go wrong with the original star wars trilogy.

Books: 1000 Days of summer, The Inheritance Series, Sam Capra Series, Wilbur Smith books.

Climbed a mountain in South Korea.
