Hi! I'm Andrew! Malaysian Chinese who grew up in Malaysia but currently working and residing in Singapore.
I love my country a lot, but had to leave it in search of better job opportunity.

Always craves for an adventure and see the world out there from a locals' view!
It's always been my dream to travel around the world but mainly restricted by time and money, not courageous enough to drop my job and pick up my backpack, as we grew older, the passion inside seems to worn off bit by bit. Hopefully through the meeting and interactions with other people can the Fire within me reignites and burns again.

I hope to make new friends, learn new stuffs, experience cultures along the way! Might seemed distant at first, but I get warmed up pretty easily =)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To experience a different kind of travelling. Was introduced by my junior and decided to try it with my university graduation trip. Started my first CS experience in Cambodia and fell in love with this way of exploring since then!

I like to explore the world, not only the places, but also the people.
The world is too big to stick with one small social group. Only through meeting new people can you grow and evolve, to learn the different perspective to life, to seek what life's meaning to yourself.

I like places which offers good view of big mother nature. Especially likes the view from the top of a mountain, or enjoying the breeze of the ocean by the beach

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Went to India and Nepal for backpacking with friends, it was an unforgettable experience! India was memorable, with a blend of modern and rural taste. Over there I've slept in the middle of the Thar Dessert, with the starry sky as my roof. The view was magnificent

Solo traveled Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand 2016 for 6 weeks through couchsurfing, to be able to welcomed warmly by local, and leave with them being friends, best experience ever!

Solo backpacked Taiwan 2017 for 1month mainly via CS and met a lot of friendly and awesome people!

Solo backpacked Apr 2019 Myanmar 1week during Thingyan (water festival), it was a helluva fun!
