About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I'm just im der Duetschland for a degree. Limited time only; gotta make it count.

ABOUT ME

Wow, what do they really expect me to write here? Ummmmm well I packed up my shit and left Canada to live in another country across the seas where I've never been before, didn't know anyone, and could barely speak the language. Sometimes even I think I'm slightly crazy, but everything has worked out so far.
Well, either way I'm pretty laid back, and am always interested in meeting new people. Only problem is I suck at it, and if it takes having someone live on my couch for a few days after being messaged on teh internets to meet someone, well like I said, I question my own sanity.

PHILOSOPHY

Oooo philosophy section! I like!
I honestly have absolutely noooo fucking clue what my life or anyone else's for that matter is about. All I know is that I've worked office jobs before, and seeing how my peers and my bosses turned out, I just know that's not the life I want to live. Frankly, living in a suburban house with a wife and two kids and an *ok* job and arguing with my neighbors is how I grew up, and I'm sick and tired of that shit. Number one philosophy right now is more adventure in life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

The hell does this even mean? The interests section is right down there!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Umm well this will be my first time as a host! Otherwise, I've never done anything besides crash at friend's places and such.
I alway sublet my university room during the summer and usually hung out with the subletter sometimes, does that count?

Interests

Sigh ok go list go!
Music (everything and anything, although I have a thing for indie groups of all walks, whether its rock or electro or urban hiphop), sports (also pretty much anything. Except hockey. Yes I know I'm a terrible Canadian shut up.), not huge into TV or movies or stuff like that, but I do get into stuff once in a while (currently watching: True Blood), ok, I know I did music already but I absolutely LOVE music festivals. Rock, punk, EDM, I don't care, it's all amazing.
Aaaaaaand travel. Hence, ya know, this...

Music, Movies, and Books

I JUST DID INTERESTS why are these things asked like 20 bajillion times.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

If I'd already done amazing things I wouldn't currently be 6000 kilometers from home.
No seriously, I probably haven't done anything that would top the majority of people on this website. I have done *tons* of cool things but nothing that would be totally impressive.

Teach, Learn, Share

Ok, I know you're aiming for inspiration here Couchsurfing.org, but you're coming on a liiiiiiiittle strong.
Well, I have the skillset of any engineering with a bachelor's degree, good knowledge of the rules and techniques involved in playing several sports (rugby, football, association football). My english is really really good, like better than even most other native speakers, so if you want to shore it up I'm a pretty good teacher, even with the grammar and what not. I know quite a bit about the components of musical production and composition, so I can help with that too.
Also, I really really like having deep talks about whatever; philosophy, world issues, random weird facts, whatever. I'm a sucker for good conversation, sue me.
