Overview
About Me
Hi all, my name is Andrew, but I go by Drew. I'm a young man living in Chicago, but I've lived in Detroit, San Antonio, Monterey, and Boston for a short while.
I'm a previous military translator in Afghan Pashto and currently in digital marketing. I have a background in real estate as well.
I'm a relatively cool dude that enjoys food of every type, cafe/brat motorcycles, and heading out for some live music and a couple drinks. I'm a big edm fan and indie music has a special spot, too.
My family had foreign exchange students in our house all through high school and I have several really good friends in Germany, Italy, Norway, and Portugal.
Living the most interesting life I can and really interested to exchange stories while exploring the city.
Cheers!

Music, Movies, and Books
Background in building recording studios in Detroit, so I am partial to hip hop, rap, and electronic. I'm also a big fan of KPop, JPop, Italian artists like Calcutta, Rkomi, and BLANCO, and some other European artists like Stromae, Sofi Tukker, or just good old Armin Van Buuren.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Does jumping out of a helicopter count?
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach the pashto (afghan) alphabet. Super into Asian culture (Japanese and Korean tv and food) and would love to listen if you have stories.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Perspective of an American that grew up with a very international background. Studied phonetics and linguistics and has some insight on American/English language absurdities.
I live next to a park in a very comfortable neighborhood and can also make a meal. We can explore the city together (I'm new as well) or just relax at home with homemade dinner.
