Overview
About Me
Works for a bank, can grow a beard, probably watching star trek right about now.
Born and raised in Canada, looking to expand my horizons and meet new people to learn about new cultures.
Friendly and affable person, according to my mother (very reliable reference).
Beyond that I've been told I have a highly positive and engaging attitude with a growth mindset. Excellent combination for trying out new activities!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on couch surfing as my girlfriend introduced me to the community. Looking to use this to meet new people where I live, host in the future and use it when traveling to New countries!
Interests
Absolutely love running, in all seasons. Completed multiple half marathons and other races below. Looking to train for a full marathon in the near future.
Video games have been apart of my life for a long time, favourite console currently being my Nintendo Switch followed closely by my computer (Steam, Blizzard).
Music is my next love, an avid concert goer. Typically more into the intimate concert halls and follow the Canadian indie scene. Huge fan of CBC Radio. Classical music is also amazing. Otherwise it's Indie Rock and Folk. Expanding more into R&B.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: All time favourite band is Led Zeppelin. Growing up I was influenced by classic rock, now I'm into Indie Rock and support Canadian talent (i.e., Basia Bulat, Hey Rosetta!, Arkells, etc). Avid concert goer.
Books: Avid reader, great way to decompress before going to bed. I try to read at least every night. Favourite books are anything Charles Dickens, A Song of Ice and Fire series, LOTR, 100 Years of Solitude, The Expanse, The Name of the Wind, Calvin and Hobbes, etc.
Movies: Any movie with Tom Hanks (Cast Away, Saving Private Ryan, Toy Story), Star Wars (loved TLJ), Baby Driver, Shape of Water, LOTR
