About Me

I’m an Accredited Investor dealing in commercial and residential real estate. I enjoy non-conventional winning and left the corporate rat race in my early 30s to grow and manage a portfolio of assets mainly in Dallas, Atlanta, Florida, and Houston. I maintain stakes in hotels, shopping centers, Office buildings, Medical Offices, an Apartment development being constructed, and even small stake in a Hospital. Often 1-5% of each large asset.

I spent most of my 20s working corporately in the fashion industry in NY while living in Manhattan I love to travel, and although I left NYC and L.A. and now live in Atlanta (which is quite boring by world standards), I like to show fun people what goes on in this city. I've studied/worked in Singapore (NUS), Canberra Australia (ANU), Dallas TX, L.A. (USC) and Portland.

I enjoy going to the top cocktail bars in Atlanta, and fun lounges. Enjoying good ethnic bites, or sceney new dining destinations are always high on the agenda. I like hiking the Appalachian Trail or smaller hikes from time to time. I have Hawks Basketball season tickets and enjoy those games a lot. Everyone down here is hardcore Football, but I am more of a Basketball and Soccer kind of guy. I tend to summer in either Europe or Asia, and usually spend 7-9 weeks a year overseas. I am frequently back in NYC, L.A. and Chicago.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been to about 45 countries. Travel gives me context and helps to keep me both grounded, and animated. I look for new relationships, and investment ideas that I can translate back to the US.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would train incoming Merchants the analytical Approaches to buying, inventory management, and gross margin forecasting. From high fashion to other large format Retailers (not high fashion,/NY, but big business) I worked on analytical approaches to Big Data and Reporting. When I left industry I consulted to many large hedge funds and money managers on Retail, Wholesale and Fashion trends. I still know many senior level people in the industry.

My main business is Investing in and brokering commercial assets now. I own stakes in a Hotel, Shopping Centers, Medical Office Buildings, and a Class A Multi Family development. As residential real estate approaches this cycle’s sunset, I’ve slowly transitioned my portfolio to high quality commercial assets.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have a condo for my guests right at Ponce City Market (one of the hottest places in Atlanta), it is 1 block from the Beltline and near all of the other cool places in Atlanta like Midtown, Edgewood and Inman Park. It if you are visiting Atlanta, know this- NO ONE stays downtown, it is full of homeless and undesirables, nothing is there.

This Loft has an amazing coffee place called Dancing Goats at Ponce City Market right across the street. $5-10 Uber Pool, $8-15 Uber ride to about anywhere, $20 to the airport. It is Central.

For someone who looks staying in cool areas, then yes this is IT.
