About Me

I love anything active or adventurous and I love to learn, read, and talk to people of all types. I can sleep on anything and find that the more of an experience I'm getting the better I'm doing in life. I am a break dancer on the cusp of being able to claim myself semi-professional rather than amateur. I don't drink, smoke or do other drugs for health reasons.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think its a beautiful way to connect people from all over the world, and want to be a part of that beauty.

Interests

My main passion and pass time is break dancing. I also love to hike, read, travel and play. I enjoy riddles and puzzles, playing instruments and occasionally disconnecting from the world and learning from the silence that is becoming more and more difficult to find.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music of nearly all types and love to hear new music. I grew up listening mostly to punk rock music, Celtic music and a bit of classical, now break dancing has taught me a respect for some rap music and a deeper love for all styles of music. I struggle to enjoy most top 40 songs and Country music.

I enjoy watching classic movies (from Metropolis to Casablanca) and my favorite genres in general are Sci-fi, and Romance. That being said my absolute favorite movies are Dead Poet Society, Hook and The Last Samurai.
I also have found a recent love for Korean Dramas such as Boys Over Flowers, Heirs, and A Love to Kill.

My favorite books are Peter Pan, Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, and Warbreaker. My favorite Authors are Ray Bradbury, H.P. Lovecraft, Terry Pratchett and Brandon Sanderson. I enjoy reading classics, sci-fi, philosophy, and science books most but am not prejudiced against picking up a book of any kind that I have received a good review of.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I completed a Spartan Beast barefoot in 2 and a half hours.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach break dancing basics, and basic tumbling such as handstands and basics of flips.
I am happy to learn anything but I am especially interested in languages and instruments currently.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am happy to help wherever I am, including cleaning of any kind, yard work, heavy lifting or anything someone might want or need help with.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Ecuador, England, Italy, Netherlands, New Zealand, Spain
