About Me

Extroverted, people-meeting, coffee-and-whiskey-tasting, beatboxing, rapping, philosophy-reading, body-rolling dance machine.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

At a crossroads to change careers, and it's the perfect time to take a much-needed vacation. Been itching for a serious roadtrip and the coast is calling me. I'm taking a roadtrip from Seattle to San Diego (and back again) in March.

Interests

+ Outdoors (destination hiking, backpacking, bouldering, etc.)
+ Coffee (worked as a barista in specialty coffee for 2.5 years)
+ Cooking (Thai and Korean are my specialties)
+ Fitness (been out of commission for 6+ months due to injury) :-(
+ Dancing (I am the BEST person to take club dancing. Moderate experience with salsa, too)
+ Life design, Productivity, Intentional Living, etc.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: My tastes in music are broad, but I'm currently enjoying dance-able varieties of EDM.

Books: Mostly non-fiction, such as philosophy and theology, and informative books on tech and business, entrepreneurship, etc.

Movies: I enjoy movies once in awhile, but they aren't a significant part of my life. Open to recommendations!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In my two-and-a-half years working as a barista, perhaps my crowning accomplishment was tricking an adorable--yet stubborn--child into singing for me.

What I Can Share with Hosts

An entertainer at heart, I am perhaps the best beatboxer you've ever heard in person, and I'm happy to share/teach this to anyone willing to make a fool of themselves.

Having lived in Hawaii, Wyoming, Georgia, Washington, and SE Asia, I have a diversity of experiences to share in conversation with anyone.

I tote my preferred coffee brewing system with me as I travel, and I'm happy to treat you to coffee, Andrew-style. :-)
