About Me

I am an actor currently studying in Seattle at the University of Washington. But I live permanently in Vancouver, Washington with my family: Holly (Ma), Nick (Pa), Kathleen (Sis), Romeo (Dog) and Bruce (Gecko).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Ever since I joined couchsurfing, all of the people I have met in my travels who've hosted me have enriched my experience immensely. They are good people who enjoy company and stories: two things I am readily eager to supply. It is my hope to meet people in the places I travel, and then to extend my hospitality to others as well someday.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I recently co-wrote and acted in a show at the UW which took the better part of nine months to compose and rehearse. I made friends with some incredibly talented people from the Seattle theatre community. It was a big success and everyone went away from it with a great feeling of accomplishment, including myself.

Teach, Learn, Share

My experience as an actor is something I love to share, and my knowledge of literature and plays is something in which I take great joy.

By extension, I am writing a play about the life of Julius Caesar, and I am a huge nerd regarding ancient Roman history. So if you want a three-hour lecture on the history of the late republic, I'm your man.

I have been learning to cook, expanding my repertoire and mastering old recipes. It would be a pleasure to either cook something nice or to try someone else's cooking.

I am currently trying to learn French, Japanese and German, and I am eager to learn from anyone who has experience with one of those languages. Foreign languages fascinate me, and I would love to hear about the language, culture and experience of people from other countries.
