Music, Movies, and Books

Music:

My dad got me into tons of classic rock led zeppelin, pink floyd, metallica, iron maiden, queen, kansas but I've been across the genre board. Metal in middle school and transitioned into rap. Now, I'm a huge fan of EDM and like to go to festivals every now and again.

Movies:

Inception
Donnie Darko
Fight Club
Cloud Atlas
Dead Pool
No Country for Old Men
Interstellar

Books:
How to Win Friends and Influence People
The Road Less Traveled
Incarceron

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I started a company in college called Shatter. I buy, sell, and fix phones. It's an easy concept, but it has taught me a lot about business aspects like marketing, finance, advertising, funding, and people. I enjoyed learning about the technology and want to transition into other aspects more involved with programming.

Teach, Learn, Share

I never stop learning and love teaching.

I attend weekly lectures on neuroscience and the current research being done to learn more about the origin of intelligence of the brain and how it works. Moreover, how to mathematically represent the function of our information processing and create a computational model to improve current A.I.

Personally, I am interested on the biological aspect of intelligence and how we could improve it.

Aside from neuroscience, I love history, psychology, and technology. I could explain for hours how current technology works and always wind up discussing the endless potential the technology has for the future.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love to listen to the stories of others. The other day I was Ubering back home my driver told me about her first time painting at a local place that gives lessons. At the end of the ride she showed me her painting and I couldn't believe how good it was. After her story, I looked up the shop and now I'm going to go painting. It's incredible what you could end up doing from sharing stories.
