Hey! I'm an Australian from the city of Sydney, currently living in Freiburg in Germany on exchange. I study at the University of New South Wales renewable energy engineering and Art theory.

I'm capable of speaking English at a native level, German, Japanese and Chinese!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music:
Jazz, classical, alternative, indie. Favourite album is Kind of blue by Miles Davis.

I know many movies so it is very difficult to pick favourites but my favourite directors are David Fincher, Stanley Kubrick, Peter Jackson and Satoshi Kon.

I also read widely, and my favourite books are Traveller of the Century by Andre Neumann, House of the Spirits by Isabel Allende, the Alchemist by Paul Coelho and South of the Border, West of the Sun by Haruki Murakami.

My all time favourite series is however the Dark Tower series by Stephen King!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was once in Tokyo solo and met some online Japanese friends after their work in Shinjuku. I've never seen so many veritable rivers of people, or trains so packed that it is impossible to simply reach for your own pocket. It amazes me how the everyday of everyone changes in different cultures.
