Resumen
Sobre mí
I’m a Registered Nurse by profession, though life took me in an unexpected and exciting direction. Instead of pursuing medicine as originally planned, I founded a start-up business - USCEMATCH- that helps international medical doctors pursue U.S. residency and build their future here.
I’m married to my best friend, Dylan, and hope to pursue a Master’s in Hospital Administration someday.
I’m naturally curious, enjoy meaningful conversations, love humor, and tend to bring a lot of warmth, wit, and positive energy wherever I go. Helping people and making others feel comfortable come very naturally to me.
Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing
I hosted over 25 surfers when I was in Cebu, Philippines, and have hosted two so far in Chicago, and then life got busy.
For me, Couchsurfing has always been about more than travel—it’s about genuine human connection, knowing the city like a local, cultural exchange, and the kind of conversations that stay with you long after the trip ends.

Música, películas y libros
My music taste can go from high-energy to sentimental pretty quickly. I enjoy electronic artists like Mau P and Fisher when I want something upbeat, and I also enjoy K-pop from BLACKPINK and BTS. I have a soft spot for romantic songs too—especially songs that tell a story or hit emotionally.
I love big cinematic universes, especially Marvel Studios and DC Studios.
Favorites include:
* Avengers: Endgame
* Avengers: Infinity War
* The Dark Knight
* Man of Steel
* Wonder Woman
I like movies with epic stakes, heroes, loyalty, and good-versus-evil themes—but I also enjoy a great romantic film.
Algo increíble que he hecho
One amazing thing I’ve done is start and grow a business from scratch—without a business degree—and use it to help hundreds of international physicians pursue their dream of becoming doctors in the United States.
Watching people I’ve guided begin residency and build new lives here has been incredibly meaningful to me.

What I can teach
I can share what I’ve learned about entrepreneurship, healthcare, sales, building something from scratch, and helping international doctors navigate the path to practicing in the U.S. I can also teach a bit about Filipino culture, resilience, and honestly—how to turn setbacks into strategy.
What I’d love to learn
I love learning how other people think, how they’ve built their lives, and what drives them. I’m always curious about different cultures, travel stories, psychology, business ideas, and perspectives that challenge my own.
What I can share
Good conversation, humor, encouragement, life stories, Filipino hospitality, and hopefully a sense that you’ve spent time with someone genuine and thoughtful.
Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones
I can share stories from the Philippines and Chicago, good laughs, great company, maybe even cook a wonderful dish, and hopefully, the kind of connection that turns strangers into life long friends.
