Overview
About Me
I'm an undergraduate student in Tennessee, USA. I'm studying English in relation to language and English literature. I really want to travel and see the world, as well as immerse myself in the culture and customs of wherever I visit.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm looking forward to meeting new people throughout the world as I travel through various countries. Gaining local insight sounds really valuable to me as well, and I'd like to learn a bit of the language whenever I travel through a country. I have studied a little bit of German and Japanese so far, but I am always interested in learning more about language and linguistics!

Music, Movies, and Books
Foster the People, Antonio Vivaldi, The Strokes, RADWIMPS, Chance the Rapper, Courtney Barnett, Chvrches; there's honestly too many bands and artists I really like to list here without dragging on. I could talk for hours about music alone hahaha
Movie-wise, Jurassic Park was my childhood and Dumb and Dumber my adolescence. 500 Days of Summer is really good too. I just saw A Quiet Place; super great horror movie.
Some of my favorite books are Brave New World, Redwall series, and the works of Edgar Allan Poe and Lord Byron. I admire the poetry of those two as well among a huge list of others like Dorothy Parker, Kahlil Gibran, Robert Frost, Samuel Coleridge, etc. I've been reading some Franz Kafka stories lately, and they've been captivating.
