Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Hey guys. If you're reading this then you've found my Couchsurfing page, so awesome. I'm on Couchsurfing because I love meeting people and I love to travel. When I have traveled to other countries, I have had friends who have welcomed me into their homes and treated me like their own. It was such a blessing and deeply enriched my experience, not only as a traveler, but as a human being. Spending time with locals allows you to engage culture and interact with a different way of life that is real and meaningful. After this experience, I feel like the least I can do is offer my home and time to do the same thing for others.

Interests

I'm interested in learning anything. Love meeting all different kinds of people from different walks of life. By passion, I am a student of (but not limited to) literature, history, and philosophy. I can stay up into all hours of the night hashing out ideas and asking big questions. I also like traveling, learning about different cultures, and trying out new types of cuisine. I am passionate about building community and serving the poor and downtrodden. I love academic content, audiobooks, being outdoors, paddle boarding, hiking, restaurant hopping, lounging, singing karaoke, and doing crazy things (!!!).
