About Me

Hi!
I've been living in Seoul, Korea for the last 1.5 years as an English teacher. I like being active and exploring from a simple, hour-long workout to a long, multiple day trek. I like watching and playing sports, too. I'm huge into music as well. Played drums for nearly 20 years now, and love to talk about it, listen to it, and experience live shows.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think this site will help me meet some cool, open and like-minded people as I backpack around parts of the world. In time, maybe I'll be fortunate to host someone in the U.S.A. in the future.

Interests

Like my bio said, I like being out and about. I've played rugby for many years, I enjoy sight seeing, and will always try a new food at least once. I'm also a huge music junkie, and have played the drums my whole life.

Music, Movies, and Books

(Almost) All music. It's the universal language!
Doesn't take much for a movie to entertain me, but I will claim to know more about Star Wars than you :)
Also, I like anything written by Neil Peart.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I feel as though I've been lucky enough to do many amazing things. Ask to find out!

Teach, Learn, Share

Though I can't promise I carry a lot of physical items around, I love to converse over a wide range of topics during meals and drinks. Yes, music, movies, books, etc. are all well and good, but I also enjoy open-minded talk about theology, religions, spirituality, morality, and personal philosophies. It's all very fascinating to me, and I have a great interest in people who enjoy disclosing how they feel they can express their inner selves.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A meal, a light run or workout, a lame joke or three, and enjoyable company if given the chance.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Canada, Germany, Greece, Liechtenstein, North Korea, Philippines, Switzerland

Countries I’ve Lived In

South Korea, United States
