ABOUT ME

Being Asian, I naturally feel uncomfortable telling you ALL about myself before we meet and would prefer you to find out ALL about it for yourself when we get the opportunity to meet. However, given the fact that you're looking at this box to see if i'm a safe, cool, weird, fun (whatever your preference is) etc. person, let me put it succinctly, I do my best to keep it 'all about you' when we meet and that, my friend, I hope will tell you 'most about me'. :) (Oh and I like writing in brackets, evidently)

PHILOSOPHY

The one on my mind recently is 'The kind of person that people respect is the person who is kind'.

Oh another one... 'People do not care what you know until they know you care'

Yay for cheesy catchphrases. (Wonder what's the proper term for those kind of catch phrases i quoted above... anyone?)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I believe in a 'World Without Strangers' (I should be the spokesman for Giordano), therefore it is my desire to be a friend (if you're not looking for friendship though, I can be of great short-term use to you) to all kinds of people (except for swindlers, scammers and er... surfers with severe cases of halitosis) from all over the world who decide to grace the shores of Sunny Singapore. I have a literal couch at home (the kind that extends so it can comfortably accommodate 2 people) in the living room, so if you're really desperate for a free place to stay, I might be able to put you up for a couple of nights (barring failed negotiations with the authorities at home).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Did volunteer work on a missionary ship with 300 over internationals selling books to people in different countries for 2 months. Ship wrecked and was about to be swallowed by an incoming wave, but thank the heavens, a couch miraculously appeared by my side and I basically rode the wave on a couch. (You're smart enough to know that only half this story is true)

Intereses

Novelty, Novels, Sports (esp those that require good hand-eye coordination), Surfing (the internet), Art House Films (sorry Marvel Fans) and not to sound creepy (although I probably still do)... You.
