About Me

First note: I do prefer personal messages (note something of interest in your message that you found in my profile), so please make sure to do this! I would greatly appreciate that.
There might even be a hidden secret that will unlock my message responding mechanism ;) ;) ;)

Note: Please read about my home as it is very important! Part of the reason is right under this.

I have 2 wonderful children who love to play, are quirky and love couchsurfers.
Savannah (April 2012) and Odin (May 2014)
They are with me on certain weekends and sometimes during the week. (That gives more insight as well I believe ;) )

So about me...
Let's have fun and bullet point this! (I like some kind of order/organization)
- Flow (Both Personal and in Work)
.......- Foodie (Feel free to cook here! Caution: Keep reading and understand why caution)
.......- Sustainable (0 Waste is a way of life!)
.......(Only a few will understand this layout)
- Liberal (Open my mind to more! -Hint: This might be a clue to a trait mentioned below)
- American (This is to excuse the quirky/huggable/randomness that is me)
.......- Huggable
.......- Random
.......- Quirky
.......(It was only natural those would show up after right?)
- Vegan (Complete by start of 2019)
- Open Minded (Let's deep dive together!)
- Random (Exactly)
- Forgetful (Your name will surely fit into this category)
- Utilitarian (For a decent part)
- Love (Everything has got to do with it)

Note: I prefer that if gifts are going to be given (which I do not care about nor desire but see some people feel inclined to), either find out my secret or offer to cook (I'll help too!) a local dish (Make sure you read my info to know what kind of cooking.)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet new and wonderful people and explore the world whether internal or external.
A love for food... and chocolate!... and always grateful to try food made from others.
Note: If you, in your first message, tell me how many notes there are here, you get an automatically some chocolate upon arrival.
Aaaand, let's be honest, we all like a free stay with awesome people :p (I do however pay with helping out a LOT!)

Music, Movies, and Books

What can I say, I love it all! (For the most part :p)

Music: I get into 'grooves' and just feel what's good for the moment. Almost always playing in the background.
I do however LOVE
- Calm Instrumental (Background music great for any time)
- Violin (Would be lovely to play and that's where this story will stay),
- 'Eccentric' (Think Bjork/Xela/Shaman Pop)
- Opera (Still have to learn the names of the styles)
- Beats (Dubstep comes to mind)
But onetype I pass on usually: Rap. There are some good songs but when listening to a lot of the lyrics, I would sometimes rather listen to a hillbilly talkin smack. Who knows, maybe you will change my mind? Good luck!

Why do I mention those:
They tend to be genres that I can listen to for hours on end. (Sometimes one song for days on end!)

Movies: Bring em on. I have learned to enjoy every type of movie. Still have a love for anime and would love to watch with people who really enjoy them :)
Note: Most recent favorite is "Captain Fantastic"

Books: Anything that captivates me and reels me in while reading. Tends to be the mystery with paranormal type of books. (For the few that I read.)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Reached what I thought was rock bottom, climbed back up just to realize that I could hit lower than rock bottom, rinsed and repeated once more, which has now help mold me into who I am today.

A 3 week road trip by myself with my Volkswagen Golf almost purely couchsurfing from Gent (Belgium) all around the Baltic sea and back within 3 weeks. 10k+ kilometers, fantastic people and glorious food that all filled up every part of me :D

Teach, Learn, Share

People are beautiful and all have similar needs.
There is only one world and 1 lifetime per person as we currently know.
Let's all help each other meet those needs and build a better world.
Note: We each are our own strength and other attributes, not just 'having' them inside us. I think I can help show/understand this if interested.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A talk with someone that will reach to the depths of a mind if you love a deep talk. (Casual talk too)
Fun cooking together and hopeful new fusions to be made.
Helping hand(s)
Enjoying the city together while not playing tour guide. (Seriously, an actual tourist might have more info than me.)
Boardgames and video games.
