About Me

A curious guy, which is very interested in foreign customs. Sometimes bearded, sometimes sunburned, sometimes on bike, sometimes on foot - don't matter how are you looking and what are you doing. Just be yourself, and treat other people same as you expect to be treated. It always works!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Unfortunately, there are some obstacles(Great Apartment Renovation), that prohibit me to be a host, until summer of 2016. I hope that in next year I can offer Ukrainian hospitality to someone.
I think, that travelers can make world more peaceful and happier, because a lot of wrong things were done only because people don't understand each other. So tell me as more as you can - I'm ready to listening (and vice versa, of course:)).

Music, Movies, and Books

Music depends on mood and can vary from heavy metal to rap. There is a lot of modern Ukrainian band that make incredible sounds.
Movies... Hm. A Beautiful Mind, Futurama, Equilibrium, My Neighbor Totoro and many other (some Soviet comedies like Kidnapping, Caucasian Style).
Books. Li Kuan Yew and Richard Feynman come on mind.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Drinking warm new milk in small village in Prokletije mountains.
Get lost in Carpathian in one day, and make 30 km rush across mountains in next day
Cross the ice-covered Dnieper by foot.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: Ukrainian cuisine, Russian and Ukrainian language.
Learn: I'm very interesting in local routine life. Because big differences between nations grows exactly from such little details.
Share: travel stories, tips about life in Ukraine. And I'll be very happy if we can take walk in neighborhood :)

Cooking and cleaning (after cooking).
Outdoor activities, especially cycling!
