Overview
About Me
I live alone in a small unit and I work permanent full-time hours during the day
I have 2 grown-up daughters and 2 grand-daughters
I try to play guitar but only for my own amusement these days
I have a genuine interest in the lives and experiences of people from everywhere in the world
Recently I reluctantly found myself standing in front of the doorway to a completely new life ... Sånt är livet.
So now I am out to see the world ... life is there to be experienced for what it is naturally and the fruit is for eating and sharing.
Sånt är livet så 'carpe diem' :D
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
A friend suggested that I should check CS out for when I travel to visit my girlfriend in Sweden again ... so I did.
To me it just seems like a fantastic and natural way to see and share the real world, meet real people and bring the world closer together by making new friends from all walks of life.
Apparently it is only through our interactions with others that we can learn anything about our own true self ... hence I'm letting the world into my little home to become more aware of who I am as a human being so that I might reciprocate that same gift to the world and those I love.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music : I just like music of all kinds ... something new and unique is always good
Movies : generally twisted cynical comedies or enlightening morbid dramas
Books : anything worthwhile that shares knowledge, meaning or practical value
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
At 42yo i found that 'once shared directions' could suddenly become 'futile endings' which can in time sprout 'fertile beginnings' ... From this experience I have come to discover for myself that the world is surprisingly far smaller than I had ever imagined and that good people are good people no matter where they live
Teach, Learn, Share
positive human interaction is all about teaching, learning and sharing life
What I Can Share with Hosts
appreciation, a smile and a laugh ... but also a free place to stay if you're ever in my neighbourhood
