Overview
About Me
I'm a philosopher, a human rights activist, and a spiritual being.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
When I travel, I want to really experience the place. I'm not into superficial touristy stuff but instead want to live as the people live, know the history, and become part of the community in the brief time that I'm there. It's also cheaper.
Interests
Books, music, people, martial arts, history, religion, politics, science, literature, and of course philosophy.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite band is Linkin Park, but I listen to everything from orchestral and world music to heavy metal and rap. My favorite movie is The Fountain. I enjoy action, horror, and anything thought provoking. I enjoy reading Plato, Kierkegaard, Nietzsche, Kant, and a lot of fantasy/Sci-fi such as Brandon Sanderson and Alan Moore.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Humanitarian trips to Guatemala and Nepal. LDS mission to Oklahoma. Working with the homeless population of Utah.
Teach, Learn, Share
"There are a thousand hacking at the branches of evil to one who is striking at the root." -Henry David Thoreau
What I Can Share with Hosts
Myself, all that I have learned, and of course a grateful helping hand.
Countries I’ve Visited
Bahrain, Guatemala, Mexico, Nepal
