Overview
About Me
I just spent 20 years living in Australia and honestly I'm so glad I'm gone. I studied the archaeology of ancient civilisations but spent my time writing reports for developers. In 2009 I took part in an excavation at Mtskheta and loved it. Now I want to see if I can be a full time archaeologist in Georgia, outside not behind a desk.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on Couchsurfing because I want to get away from travellers and into the local culture. My georgian language skills are basic, and I will take lessons when I arrive in Tbilisi, but I believe I will progress faster if I am immersed in Georgian culture, mixing with Georgians.

What I Can Share with Hosts
I love to share the stories of where I've been and interesting people I've met (China is the most interesting), I would like to be able to cook and contribute to wherever I'm staying. For me Couchsurfing isn't about free accommodation, I am benefiting so I will repay.
