Hey all, I'm a young new breed in an occupation that the average age is 50+. Yes thats right I'm a farmer. Not only that, but a farmer practicing organic practices. I've always wanted to connect people to the food we eat thru art/education and I found this to be the best way I could accomplish this. Most of my education is from Virginia Tech and interning on farms in North Carolina.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm couchsurfing because farming is a hard life with a low income. Which makes it difficult to travel to farming conferences. With your help I'll be able to expand my knowledge and connect with other farmers in my field. Also I’m a Libra so I’m a very social person and I love to hear other peoples stories which you can’t get in a hotel. Eventually I would like to vacation and travel to far off lands but that won't happen for a few more years since I just started farming.

I've worked as a maintenance man for two hotels and a rental agency so if its broke I can fix it or guide you in the direction of someone who can. I also can remedy any horticultural problems that you might be having.
