Overview
About Me
I'm a smiley, friendly, enthusiastic guy who likes talking to people and playing games (board games, drinking games, cards etc). I'm currently working for a company that makes and services confocal microscopes so I'm getting to travel a lot with work. Quite often I'm getting to stay over and get a free day in the places I'm working and I'm looking for a way to meet people because it's human interactions that make for the best memories rather than just the best museums in town. I'm always trying to increase my knowledge of Spanish language and culture and like helping those who are interested in English/England to increase their knowledge. I love playing guitar and can certainly try and hold a tune!

Music, Movies, and Books
I love practically any types of music (except Lordi-style death metal) but I absolutely love anything funky or chilled out depending on my mood, think Chromeo, Alt-J, When Saints Go Machine, Ben Howard etc. I used to play in an indie band in the UK and can still whack out a few tunes on the guitar though I don't know that many sing-a-long style stuff. I love reading and watching anything Sci-fi based but am also working my way through Ernest Hemingway's works and trying to educate myself about the world with some stuff from Naomi Klein and Noam Chomsky. I love really crappy Sci-Fi movies like Judge Dredd, Starship Troopers and Demolition Man.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I played at Glastonbury festival in 2011 on the BBC introducing stage. Here is a link to one of the music videos of my band, it's very silly.

Teach, Learn, Share
More than willing to help anyone with English and would be great if anyone could help me with Spanish. Can also help out with Physics and guitar!
Am also generally handy in any situation and not afraid of mucking in.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Good sense of humour, English language practice, decent cook, may be able to bring my giant Game of Thrones Risk board game upon request.
