Hello and thanks for reading my profile and possibly getting involved in our second project!

What is our project? The project is to try and help an incredible woman (our mum) travel around the world and experience what the world has to offer, despite her limitations of language (she doesn't speak english, only spanish), of age (65), and of money (she is travelling on a tight budget).

Our mum is a retired nurse from Colombia. She is a humble person with a big heart. She has an adventurous spirit and loves to travel and is now excited to discover the world in her later years.

She already has accommodation sorted for most of the places she is visting. The main thing we are looking for is good people who are kind enough to give up a couple of hours of their time to show her the city or just to walk around with her so that she feels confidence in a place she doesn't know. Even if she can't speak in your language or in English, she has an incredible ability to connect and overcome language barriers.

Barcelona (already done) - thanks very much Ana and Ferran for taking our mum around. You are awesome!
Brussels (already done) - Claudia, despite your busy worklife, our mum was really grateful to you for walking with her and taking coffee, she really appreciated it!
Egypt (already done)
Beijing (already done) - Jin you are awesome! Thanks for picking up our mum from the airport and taking her to the hotel. And thanks for spending time with her the next day and taking her to lunch. The spicy sandwich incident was hilarious, hahahaha!!
Suzhou (already done) - Abby, thanks for taking my mum around Suzhou. She felt a lot more confident after being with you. You are awesome!
Thailand - thank you Sarah for showing her around Bangkok and for generously taking her up to the north to meet your family. She said her time with your grandmother has changed her life!
