About Me

Friendly, intellectually-driven, and free-spirited. Interest in culture, philosophy, economics, art, music, architecture, and politics!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Traveling Europe 2016-1017 and looking for total immersion in the culture of those cities and countries...not the usual tourist fare.

Music, Movies, and Books

Well that's tough. I really love sci-fi, so anything by Asimov, or Arthur C. Clarke. I really like Agatha Christie's work. I love old movies from the 20's, 30's, and 40's. Music from those eras too, though I'll listen to about anything. I really like EDM music a lot. Have to say, Austra, Grimes, Florence and the Machine, Gorillaz, and Active Child are a favourite right now. I am also, and this may be extreme, an avid liturgical listener, particularly of the ancient Byzantine church music. I also really like ancient philosophy like Aristotle and Socrates. Currently I am listening to Stefan Molyneux's Free Domain Radio Podcasts, which are free to listen to and a great source of knowledge and insight. I really like the modern Libertarian writers as well, like Ayn Rand, Ludwig von Mises, Friedrich Hayek, and Murray Rothbard. I really want to get my hands on some of Thomas Aquinas' and Socrates' work, as I am learning about Scholasticism. Okay, I think that's enough. XD

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have achieved a black belt in Tae-Kwan-Do, so that's major. I am still alive, so that's great as well. I am on this journey around Europe too!

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to enhance my own philosophy, to become wise, and to learn to love! I want to share what I do know, or is it that I know nothing and wish to see the world as my teacher. :D

What I Can Share with Hosts

A really good attitude. I am pleasant to be around and seeking adventure is a standard for me. I am also awkward, clumsy, and forgetful, so I can give you a good laugh! Share a few drinks, and some food, we can exchange stories like old men, and joke like young.

Countries I’ve Visited

Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Poland, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
