Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'd like to meet more people from different cultures, with different ideas. Also I would like to introduce people to a side of Manchester less accessible to travelers and people unfamiliar with the city. Hospitality provides its own reward.

Interests

I am fairly scientifically minded and currently work in a laser factory as a process engineer. I'm my free time I am usually working on one project or another. Recently this has been directed towards fixing speakers and making alcohol, so there may be some boozy beverages about.
My other main passion is music, both Listening and playing. I often go out to gigs around Manchester, and play in a gypsy jazz band.
