I was born in Hong Kong and grew up in Toronto, Canada. I trained to be a computer engineer and then decided teaching was more fun. I am now a high school math teacher and I've been teaching in Bangladesh for five years.

I have been travelling a lot since I started to work overseas, so I figured this would be an easy way to meet people when I'm on vacation.

I like learning about the culture and history of different countries. I like to play and watch basketball. I like long conversations that touch on some of the more meaningful things in life. I like to eat good food and then document them on facebook =P

I like listening to top 40 pop music and rock/alternative. I like almost anything 90s. Movies, I like action, thriller, suspense, comedy, and some drama. I especially like superhero and epic movies that have sequels and tie-ins. My favourite books are The Wheel of Time and Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy - epic fantasy and sci-fi comedy series respectively.
