Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
travelling and meeting some awesome folks along the way, and to be a joy - not a bother - to those who allow me to tag along.
ABOUT ME
I am a laid back individual who gets the urge to travel only every now and again, but when I do it becomes all consuming. I love traveling with friends almost as much as the idea of making new ones with the awesome locals around the world.
PHILOSOPHY
I am a calm person by nature, and I believe that life is best lived by those who can take a minute to smell the roses. I believe that too much focus is placed upon appearance and too little upon the sentimental value, whether that value be for items, people, events, or even homes. The joy that comes from memories are what carry me through the occasional rough days.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am only a surfer for the time being. I will be living with my parents for a couple more months and then a dorm after that, so sadly I cannot open my couch quite yet. I would love to cook or aid in any way anyone willing to open their doors to me (and possibly a friend) though, and can't wait to see more of the world!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
In Oahu,my father and I stayed with a fantastic family for about a week. Their son happened to be my age and he taught me a little about surfing and what exactly one does on a lazy Hawaiian afternoon.
In Chicago I stayed with my sister at one of her close friends apartments for a couple days, he showed us around town and in turn we cooked dinner for him. It was a great trip and I learned so much about the area because of him.
