ABOUT ME

Between crude, facetious jokes I like to think. Sometimes people look at me and ask if I'm okay, because I'll stare at a wall or a tiny speck of paint for ages, processing a range of thoughts lying somewhere between philosophical transcendence and mundanity. Other times, more often when people are talking to me, I will mentally trace familiar shapes in tiles or bricks, or else contemplate the angle of a person's legs and compare it to th.e letters of the alphabet

Aside from all of this, I like to cook and especially to cook for other people, and especially especially for people who give me a place to stay. I also like to draw, to take photographs, and to write, but I have never been especially good at any of those activities.

My above-all favorite thing to do is to sit down, have a beer and talk politics and philosophy with people. A saying in the US is never to discuss religion or politics--I grow bored by almost anything but those two.

I go hitch-hiking and couch surfing because it is the best way to meet new people and to have interesting experiences.
