About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To explore as much of the planet as I can before setting roots wherever calls me

ABOUT ME

I'm an outgoing guy who loves to travel and meet new people. I think some people would describe me as over-energetic but I'd say I love to do adventurous things.

PHILOSOPHY

Hmmm - a hard one. I guess I'd say live life to the fullest (a bit clichéd I know).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment I'm doing a fair bit of surfing at other's houses but once I get my own place back in Perth I hope to host people as much as possible.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't done a whole heap of couchsurfing, but the experiences I have had have been incredible - getting shown around Chicago by Riley was amazing!

Interests

I love the outdoors and exploring, especially in new countries where I can meet new people. Despite coming from a particularly warm part of Australia with no snow nearby, I think skiing is probably the outdoor activity I enjoy the most. I'm never one to turn down a night out either, a few drinks and a dance is always a lot of fun!

Music, Movies, and Books

Not a huge reader but I can say my favourite books have been the Millenium series by Steig Larsson. When it comes to movies and music I will watch or listen to anything, so it's kind of hard to define absolute favourites.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most amazing experiences of my life was my reason for joining couchsurfers. A friend of mine organized a trip to a coachsurfer's house in Chicago through this website, and we ended up drinking beers in a rooftop hot tub on the first night, looking out over the incredible Chicago skyline until 1am. This was followed by an awesome 3 days of sightseeing and partying that I will remember forever!

Teach, Learn, Share

I love introducing people to new things, especially music. I guess I also like encouraging people to go out of their comfort zone (but only if they want to!). I love having people challenge my opinion on anything as well, I like changing my views on things.

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Kenya, Morocco, Singapore, Spain, Switzerland, United Arab Emirates, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
