About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Be More Reckless

ABOUT ME

I'm a delightfully random & easy going guy from Toronto, Canada. I was recently an English teacher in Seoul, South Korea at an all-girls public high school. I am fluent in both Korean and English. I am currently on a 1~1.5 year long world trip that started on Feb 16th. Most of my friends would say that I'm playful, logical, and funny. I would also describe myself by saying that I'm efficient/lazy, thoughtful, resourceful, and even-keeled.

PHILOSOPHY

Be a perfect man in your own terms. Conquer your fears. A man needs to have a code.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

By crashing at other people's couches (hopefully). by hosting people when I have my own place (after the world trip). Also planning to attend few events while i'm on the road.

Interests

I'm quite interested in everything. Career-wise, I'm interested in Industrial Design. I like sports (hockey, basketball, american football, among others), most activities (snowboarding, swimming, bungee jumping, etc), and obviously travelling. I like to meet new people and do random things at random times.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like Hip Hop. All kinds of movies and tv shows, except horror. I find them not scary and boring. I really liked The Alchemist, The Outliers, and The Picture of Dorian Gray.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'll go with things I've done. I was a one-time-background actor for the Broadway musical "Wicked". I won a raffle when I went to watch the show during my impulse visit to New York City. They brought me back and got me into costume & make-up and got to be part of the show. It was truly one of the most unique experiences. I've done many other things: lose 50lbs in 3months, place top 800/3200 on World Series of Poker, impulse decision to teach English in Korea among others but Wicked Musical definitely takes the cake so far. I'm hoping to have many more amazing things during my World Trip.
